Had a brilliant time playing with the Aurora Orchestra in the summer. Check out their video featuring the Man Overboard Quintet. More dates planned for next year!
Our second album is in the can! Probable release date January 2015. Recorded at Champs Hill again. We’re really excited about this.
We played live on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune again, on 25 June 2014. Played 3 numbers from our soon to be released 2nd album.
Very busy year for us so far. Numerous gigs, including a very exciting collaboration with the Aurora Orchestra. A series of gigs culminating with a special show at LSO St Luke’s on 20th July 2014 (a music centre run by the London Symphony Orchestra).
Man Overboard’s CD “All Hands on Deck” was chosen by Bruce Lindsey, the editor of All About Jazz as one of his top 10 releases in 2013.
Man Overboard was the house band on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune Christmas Special on 20 December 2013.

September 2013 – Man Overboard’s first recording!
We recorded our first album in September 2012 at Champs Hill records. We are currently going through the mixing and design, and the album will be released in mid-2013. Exciting times. More news to follow.
